Greetings from Buenos Aires

We have now been in Argentine for one week. Wow how time flies. We landed here Monday after a very good but long flight. All twelve of our bags arrived together and in one piece. Very grateful for that. The bags were dropped off at the storage area and we arrived at our apartment in time for dinner.

The next few days were spent looking after Brazian visa issues. Fun, three trips to the consulate and all was arranged.

Friday was spent at the boat yard checking out the progress. I have taken lots of pictures but as luck would have it the patch cable to download the pictures is in a bag in the storage area. So I am sorry but no pictures for a couple of weeks. The updated splash date is April 12th and then the factory needs two weeks with it in the water before we move aboard. We anticipate May 4th as our move aboard date. Bella Luna looks great on the factory floor. There had to be 12-15 factory employees working on her. A real hive of activity.

Tomorrow we head off on a 9 day bus and plane tour of Argentina with stops in Iguazu Falls and Iguaza National Park, Salta, Purmamarca, Jujup and Mendoza. It will be a great chance to see Argentina and the beautiful countryside.

We return on April 4th and will start busying ourselves with final boat preparations.
